website problems

good morning everyone.

just wanted to let you all know that we're experiencing some problems with our website right now.

we will get everything back to normal asap.

Just a little note...

that I won't be in the shoppe much this week...
I'll be placing CHA orders instead (you'll thank me later). ;)

today...

Just wanted to pop in and let you know I will not be in the shop today. I have a sick kid at home. I'll pop in tomorrow afternoon to pack kits and mail them out though.

we interrupt your regularly scheduled program...

for this announcement. Please please watch your children while you're shopping! It's not uncommon for me to clean up the toys in the back (and in the front... or wherever they end up) on a daily basis. And even though, because of my practice at home cleaning up after my own kids, I am very good at it... I have lots of other things to do (like getting new product out). I've already eliminated many of the toys, but I may have to eliminate them all together. I'm also often putting misplaced product back where it belongs (but that's TOTALLY part of the territory and I don't mind doing that). Today alone I have to pick up the toys, pick up the courtesy magazines off the floor and wipe off foot prints off my upholstered chairs in the front... and will not have time to unpack any of the boxes that arrived today. I have a lot of new and exciting things planned for the shoppe and plan on making it more homey, cute, and less retail. But I'm slightly discouraged right now. So. Please please watch your children.

New DT additions

So, it was hard. :(

So many talented people and I wish we could have picked more. In the end, even though there were so many talented people who submitted, we felt these two complimented the styles of the current Shoppe Girls (Jen and Leigh). And that was one very important factor to weigh in.

The winner of the Holiday Goodies is....

My favourite tradition is going to this little tree farm every year, to pick out and cut down our own Christmas tree, followed by a sleigh ride, hot chocolate, peanuts and cookies.(ps..GREAT sneak peek)

New Newsletters

Every month on the 20th (or around there) we'll be posting a sneak peek of the upcoming kit.

This month, and probably others too, we'll be throwing in giveaways too!

January's peek and the December giveaway!!

January's kits contain a lot of green, red and pink. I nice updated version of a traditional christmas. Some shimmer, some cozy felt and some holiday cheer.

And, the giveaway...

I like to think of it as a little starter holiday kit. Papers, fabric, stamps, sheer letters, pearly brads and more.

Newsletters

So, part of the new-improved MSS is that I'm starting newsletters again. I love the blog and LOVE how involved the Shoppe Girls are with it, but I still think it's nice to get something in your inbox.

If I can figure it out you'll be getting monthly emails from the shoppe... well, two actually. One with a sneak of the kit (hopefully) and another at the beginning of the month (again... hopefully). If I can't figure out how to get you those in an email you will still receive an email, but it will contain a link to the newsletter PDF (THAT I know how to do! ha ha).

New October Afternoon

So, the only bad thing with keeping up with the online store is that it takes me a LOT longer to get stuff out.

I've got lots of other new stuff to go out, but today was October Afternoon day.
Yummy!!
Night Light, Good Cheer and Weathervane are now online and in the shoppe.
The collections are not complete though (an issue with my distributor not carrying them anymore and apparently only sending me part of my preorder...) but lots of new papers, some rub-ons and stickers.

Also... tis the season for Christmas concerts. The shoppe will be closed for an hour on Thursday the 4th (1:45-2:45), Tuesday the 9th (1:15-2:15) and Wednesday the 10th (1:15-2:15). Unfortunately our school has concerts during the day.
