may dt challenge ~ use 4

sorry for the late post! i remembered while at work, but completely forgot once i got home. just a quick post to let you know about the may dt challenge. we each chose one element we wanted to see on your layouts, and this is what we came up with:

- use yellow
- use more than one photo
- use a tag
- cut an image from patterned paper

if you want to play along, upload your layouts to the gallery and link them to this thread. at the end of the month, we'll choose a winner!

also, if you haven't noticed, new october afternoon has been added to the shop! i'm looooving this line!

New October Afternoon

New October Afternoon is here!

And I bought far too much. :( Help a girl out??

black & white

So technically not colours..
you cannot mix these 2 and make blue..
all you get is shades of grey..

what can i say about b&w??
it makes a dramatic statement, especially
for photos, and when you highlight an image
with a colour, it pops even more..

when i think of black and white together, i
think of newspaper, of salt and pepper,
of dyanmic duos..ying and yang...
polar opposites...

i can't find any other layouts with b&w...

i just love the halloween paper.

so this one uses the b&w photo with a pop of colour

i think i'm gonna run and maybe think of some
black and white inspired layouts to do...

later!
