New Newsletters

Every month on the 20th (or around there) we'll be posting a sneak peek of the upcoming kit.
This month, and probably others too, we'll be throwing in giveaways too!
You'll be able to receive these in newsletter format as well.

So, here we go.
January's peek and the December giveaway!!

January's kits contain a lot of green, red and pink. I nice updated version of a traditional christmas. Some shimmer, some cozy felt and some holiday cheer.

And, the giveaway...
I like to think of it as a little starter holiday kit. Papers, fabric, stamps, sheer letters, pearly brads and more.

So, "what do I have to do to get this goodness in my hands" you ask? Well, simply leave a comment here on the blog telling us your favorite holiday tradition. That's it. We'll randomly draw a winner from the list of posts on the 23rd.

Merry Christmas!

My favourite tradition is going to this little tree farm every year, to pick out and cut down our own Christmas tree, followed by a sleigh ride, hot chocolate, peanuts and cookies.
(ps..GREAT sneak peek)

My favourite holiday tradition is decorating the tree. We pour big glasses of egg nog, put on Bing Crosby's Christmas album and put up our huge collection of ornaments, including lots of old ones from our childhood and ones that belonged to my parents and grandparents. We leave our tree up until after Ukranian Christmas. All that sparkling garland and lights and ornaments makes me smile everytime I see it!

My favorite tradition is...opening our presents on Christmas Eve, after we have had a special supper. And following the gift opening we eat all kinds of homemade chocolates that I have made. Good times just the three of us!

My favourite tradition is baking Santa's cookies with the kids on Christmas Eve day, going to church in the evening, and then setting up the stockings and the plate for Santa. I also enjoy our yummy Christmas morning breakfast after all the presents are open.

decorating the christmas tree as a family, and loking at all the ornaments...we buy one every year and from every place we have travelled to, so it's cool to relive those moments.

Our favorite tradition is to spend Christmas eve together as a family. Opening presents, playing with the gift and outside on our snowhill. The highlite is our "fancy" supper by candlelight with chocolate fondue for dessert. Our kids plan the meal for months in advance!

By far, my favorite traditions are on Christmas eve... we first go to midnight mass, then we open the homemade pjs I make them every year, and the homemade decoration I make them. When everyone are in their new pjs, we sit back and listen to the kids read the Polar Express... when we started doing this the kids were too young to read themselves.... now that they are older, there are a few more giggles at each other and silly voices for the characters......yep, love that night. So many good memories.
