February sneak

It's the 20th! Time for next month's kit sneak!

Our February kit this year isn’t your typical Valentines-y one. But have no fear you red lovers… our add-on kit is. So, this month we’re sharing a sneak of the main kit stamp and also the add-on kit… which just happens to double as a project kit too!

Heres' the main kit sneak...

... and the add-on sneak...

Yup. There’s a February giveaway! Again… not Valentines-y.

We want to know if you make any Valentine’s projects… cards, gifts, decorations… that kind of stuff.
Comment in this post and we'll draw a RAK at the end of the month.

I dont usually but this year Elles Studio is posting fun little projects for Valentines projects so my daughter and I are going to do a kid friendly one for her class. I also think I may make a mini book for hubby I seen on Ali Edwards blog.

This year I'll make dh a card and for dh's kindergarten class we plan to make some treat boxes. One for each child filled with candy.

I make DH a special card for valentines day. I love Anne's idea of treat boxes for when my daughter gets to be school age!

we roll out cookies and use heart shaped cookie cutters. Decorate them and then bring them to school for the kids. I always have good intentions of making valentines but that never happens.

Last year i started something but didn't finish it. I also didn't finish dh's mini album i was gonna give him for Christmas. SO MAYBE he'll get one of those things if i ever get around to finishing either or.

I'm also helping dd make all her valentine pails for her classmates.

I don't usually do much, maybe bake heart-shaped cookies and ice them with pink icing. Oh, and I always by cinnamon hearts;)

I have made a bunch of projects this year. For February 1st through the 14th, I have made a valentine a day for each of my kids, my oldest son's girlfriend, and my dh. Each day they get a little treat, some are homemade others aren't. The homemade ones include, treat boxes with homemade chocolates, minibooks covered with a "personalized" fabric, plain wood boxes that I've stained and embellished. They also get a glass container that will be filled with homemade valentines lollipops, also embellished, and they are each getting a tile which has a variation of a "10 things I love about you" layout on it. The tile is 12X12 and I've bought stands from dollarama so they can display them. Each of my kids also get a "personalized" mini book. The only one I'm almost done is ds#3...he's getting an ABC's book with pictures on velcro, so that he can put them on the right pages.
I think there is something else, but I can't remember it right now!!!

I'll make some cards for my family (kids and dh) and I was thinking of some sort of packaging for candy.

Usually treat for the kids classes. I always have great intentions for banners and hearts strung from the doorways and light fixtures, but it's never happened. I don't plan ahead enough. Maybe this year?

I just remember that last year I made a nice supper for dh and made personal heart shaped cakes for dessert. yum.

I'm making some cards for my long distance friends. I try to make something for my Mom, too, since she always gets me something for St Valentine's Day. So, the focus for me is on friends & family...not so easy for a single young woman. ;-)
